Let’s be honest, these luxury crossovers are better than ever these days. Both of these models actually have a lot in common and show just how much the market has evolved in recent years. Both offer drivers a variety of options, including a hybrid model and a sportier package. For the 2019 Acura MDX, that’s the Sport Hybrid and the A-Spec package. Each also offers all-wheel drive, so winter weather and tough road conditions aren’t a problem. The Acura MDX and the Lexus RX 350 even have the same output of 290 horsepower.
We’re of the opinion that the 2019 Acura MDX offers some advantages in key areas though. We mentioned that it’s a three-row crossover. The 2019 Lexus RX 350 is actually only two rows, unless you opt for a more expensive model. Depending on how many seats you need, that could affect your decision. The Acura crossover also offers an incredible driving experience. While horsepower is the same, the Lexus model doesn’t offer the active damper system found in the 2019 Acura MDX. This marks the first time it’s been used in the non-hybrid model.
