Earlier this year, driving enthusiasts spotted an updated version of the Acura brand’s midsize Acura TLX, which many believe will be released as the 2018 Acura TLX. While a lot of information has not yet been released about what the 2018 Acura TLX has to offer, our team here at your Acura dealers serving Andover, MA, Acura of Peabody, is excited to learn more information so we can share it with local Massachusetts drivers! Keep reading to find out more!

For starters, the updated midsize Acura sedan will have a new “face” as it looks like the Acura brand will abandon the “Acura beak” in favor of the signature “diamond pentagon” grille that was first on the Acura Precision concept. It also appears that the Acura TLX lineup will be boosted by a performance-oriented A-Spec package that will more than likely come with a more aggressive body kit, larger wheels and tires, and black accents. All of the exterior style changes will add more visual drama.

Many features are expected to carry over from the current 2017 Acura TLX, including a number of the interior tech and safety features that have made it so popular. For starters, drivers can expect it to offer the same quiet and comfortable cabin that the Acura TLX has offered for years. Standard and available tech features include two display screens—an upper 8-inch display and a lower 7-inch touchscreen—Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, a rearview camera, smartphone app integration, and more. The 2018 Acura TLX is sure to continue the brand’s commitment to safety by offering a number of available safety features including lane departure warning and intervention, a blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision alert to name a few.
