The Performance Manufacturing Center is the exclusive global manufacturing facility for the all-new 2017 Acura NSX supercar and was created with the Acura brand’s Precision Crafted Performance philosophy in mind. The plant is structured around an innovative blend of people and technology and combines human craftsmanship and technological innovation. It uses a whole new approach to vehicle construction, paint, assembly, and quality confirmation. Clement D’Souza, the engineering large project leader of PMC, had this to say about the new facility and plan to manufacture the 2017 Acura NSX:

All of the innovative thinking and hard work that has gone into the creation of this state-of-the-art manufacturing facility has fulfilled our goal to build a supercar in America. The incredible passion and challenging spirit of our highly skilled associates enables us to develop and build a new supercar factory from the ground up simultaneously with the ground up creation of an incredible new supercar in the Acura NSX.

The 2017 Acura NSX was created and designed to bring a whole new experience to the supercar segment. With its cutting-edge and world-first technologies, it challenges conventional beliefs about what a supercar can be. It offers first-of-its-kind Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, a multi-material body structure, advanced aerodynamics, and a cockpit that has performance in mind. It is the only supercar that is designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in the United States and it is exclusively produced at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio.
