Last month, Acura released the details of the next-generation 2017 Acura NSX and its sales plan. The innovative, impressive, and dynamic supercar will be hitting the market this spring. Interested drivers and consumers will be able to begin submitting orders on February 25, 2016. Keep reading to find out more!

Aside from being able to see pricing and submit orders once February 25 hits, Acura announced that the very first 2017 Acura NSX will be auctioned off for charity at Barrett-Jackson in January. All of the proceeds from the auction will go to a couple of children’s charities: Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Camp Southern Ground, which is the passion project of Grammy Award-winning county/folk artist, Zac Brown.

The 2017 Acura NSX was completely developed, designed, and manufactured in the United States. It will be the Acura brand’s first build-to-order vehicle as customers will be able to design their 2017 Acura NSX from top to bottom and front to back. They can pick from one of eight exterior color schemes and four interior color schemes with three different seating surface options. Further customizations through both exterior and interior features are also available including three different wheel designs with painted or polished finishes, carbon-ceramic brake options, carbon fiber interior sport packages, carbon fiber roof, and more! Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of the Acura Division, had this to say:

The NSX is the pinnacle expression of Acura precision crafted performance we’re thrilled to take the next step toward bringing it to market. We’re creating new space within the supercar realm, pushing the envelop beyond the conversation thinking about supercars—just like the original NSX.
