Last week, the Acura brand announced that it’s launching a new brand campaign touting the Acura brand’s core promise of Precision Crafted Performance. With the new campaign, Acura is reaffirming its customers of its core promise of precision and performance-based vehicles. Keep reading to find out more!

The “Point of View” campaign will kick off during the NFL AFC Playoffs with a sixty-second spot that highlights the philosophy to developing new vehicles: incredible precision, quality and innovative engineering, and attention to detail. Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of Acura, had this to say about the new campaign:

There is no more clear promise for the Acura brand than Precision Crafted Performance. We’re committed to infusing this core Acura promise into every facet of our products and the customer experience, including our marketing voice. The new Acura NSX supercar, which anchors the launch of the campaign, is a pinnacle expression of our DNA and demonstrates how we will deliver on those core values.

The new campaign also features the debut of Michael B. Jordan, breakout actor of movies and television, including “The Wire,” “Friday Night Lights,” “Fruitvale Station,” and “Creed.” Jordan is known for the intensity and passion he brings to his roles, much like the precision and passion that Acura engineers bring to honing each new Acura model. Leila Cesario, manager of national advertising for Acura, had this to say about the addition to the Acura team:
