If you’re thinking about investing in a luxury SUV, we’ve got two 2022 Acura SUVs that you definitely need to consider. You can take them for test drives today right here at Acura of Peabody.

Acura RDX

With the Acura RDX, you’ll get a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, but you can also opt for all-wheel drive.

The Acura RDX has a spacious cabin with room for five people. Standard features include synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable/heated front sport seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. As a bonus, there’s an ample amount of cargo space: 29.5 cubic feet behind the back row and 58.9 cubic feet when it’s folded.

Wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® integration come standard, as do a Wi-Fi hot spot and a nine-speaker stereo system. Forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and road departure mitigation come in every model as well.

Acura MDX

The Acura MDX has a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. The other option is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that offers 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the previous nine-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available.

Up to seven people will fit very comfortably in the three-row Acura MDX. Power-adjustable and heated front sport seats and synthetic leather upholstery come standard. You will get tons of cargo space: 16.3 cubic feet behind the third row, 39.1 cubic feet when it’s down, and 71.4 cubic feet with both rear rows folded.

Standard tech features for the Acura MDX include wireless device charging, satellite and HD radio, and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. You will also get many safety systems, such as automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring.
