Getting regular maintenance on your Acura car is one of the most important aspects of ownership. Every automaker will have its own recommended maintenance schedule which should be followed in order to keep your car running as it should. This recommended Acura service schedule is sometimes called service intervals, and here at Acura of Peabody, our service experts are happy to help you follow the service interval.

Acura Maintenance Minder™

New Acura cars are equipped with a technology known as Maintenance Minder,™ which measures driving style, road conditions, and helps to notify you when scheduled maintenance is due. When you see the wrench icon appear on your car’s dashboard, it is time to schedule Acura Genuine Service at our dealership. The Maintenance Minder™ tool calculates service needs based on your car’s mileage, and it checks engine operating conditions and helps coordinate oil service dates and other maintenance checkups.

General Service Guidelines

In addition to following the Acura-specific guidelines, there are also more general service intervals that should be followed. Doing so helps to prevent major problems before they occur.

Some manufacturers use a 30/60/90 schedule, which means certain items need to be inspected, changed, or replaced at 30,000, 60,000, and 90,000 miles.

  • Ail filter
  • Fuel filter

Maintenance Before 60,000 Miles
